The race this year is the first weekend in June . Please mark it
on your calendar now. Ask retired grand-parents about working the
Friday race. We earned just over $10,000 in the fall and hope to
do even better in June. Money goes into individual accounts.
Some players meet their entire financial commitment through Dover Downs.

We have several nights reserved for parents to work the concession stand at the stadium. Contact your manager for more information.
NOW is the time to
approach businesses about sponsorships. Most businesses have a
budget for charitable giving, a budget that started on Jan. 1. If
you wait until Feb. to approach businesses, you will be competing with
every other travel ball organization. We have high quality, color
letters that tell our story in a compelling way and provide an easy way
for companies to donate. Our recognition as a 501(c)(3)
organization is a tremendous asset. Get me the names of the
people, businesses, and their address that you want to approach and I
will get the letters to you. Thank you notes after the fact are
CRITICAL. They mean you can go back every
year.
