Player and Parent Commitment
The success of the Delaware Magic
Softball program depends upon the commitment of each player and her
family. Delaware Magic expects a commitment on the part of each player
to work hard, to be a supportive teammate and to set a high standard of
sportsmanship, and the commitment of her family to be supportive of that
effort. The player and her family are expected to be supportive of the
team, respectful of the managers, coaches, the umpires, and the opposing
team. Delaware Magic prides itself with the recruiting, training, and
retaining of quality coaches, and your participation in the program
affirms an acceptance of the Magic coaching means and methods.
Each player is expected to remit to
Delaware Magic a $200 commitment fee. Please see the account information
for due dates. Each team has a budget that pays for uniforms, equipment,
tournament fees, and other organization expenses. Each player is
expected to contribute to the meeting of that budget. Team budgets are
generally between $700-$900 per player including the commitment fee.
Please contact one of the Delaware Magic Officers if other arrangements
need to be made. This is for the girls, let's keep them playing.
Delaware Magic has many organized fundraisers and the players and
families are strongly encouraged to participate.
